La materia incosciente dei segni

Questa installazione si compone di diversi elementi che costruiscono una lettura contemporanea della socio‐economia. La serie di 12 opere a parete (realizzate tagliando il passepartout e mostrando il materiale ceramico retrostante in un gioco di nero su nero) riporta, tramite una semplice ma efficace ricerca iconografica, una serie di simboli/rappresentazioni di quelli che ritengo essere, ad ora, i nuovi apostoli economici ovvero quei dogmi che governano gli attuali sistemi globali. Le opere scultoree delineano un paesaggio privo d’identità, in un misto di decadenza e splendore tra figura e architettura.
La natura giace, come l’uomo, inerme nei confronti di quelle norme determinate dal sistema, dove sono i segni a portare il Verbo e a diffondere il Credo.
This installation consists of some elements that provide a contemporary reading of socioeconomics. It is a series of 12 works that have to be hung on the wall and they have been realized by cutting the passepartout in order to show the ceramic material at the back and so creating a black on black effect. Thanks to a simple but effective iconographic research, this series highlights some symbols/representations of those economic apostles, namely the dogmas that, in my opinion, rule the existing global systems. The sculptures outline a landscape with no identity, in a mix of decadence and splendor between shape and architecture.
Nature, as well as man, is helpless in the face of those rules imposed by the system, where signs say the Word and spread the Creed.
